Hey folks, I hope that you’re all well. We have enjoyed great weather last week and relatively good weather this week – through it all, praise the Lord. Here’s the update for this week.
Guest Speaker
On Sunday morning, we had the privilege of having our brother, Paul Waller, speak for our Morning Service. He spoke from Colossians 2, with a focus on verse 8, reminding us that as we build we must beware of the various thoughts and philosophies of this world that seeks to distract and detach us from Christ. Let’s, therefore, be encouraged to ground ourselves in Christ and in the truth of His word.
Homework Club
We thank the Lord for His grace and mercy in allowing us to run the Homework Club.n Over the past few weeks, the number of children attending has dropped. We ask you to pray with us for this work, that the Lord will strengthen us and grant us wisdom for it, and please pray that the children who attend will call upon the Lord and be saved.
Midweek Meeting
We’re enjoying our series through the Book of Deuteronomy. Our brother, Sam, expounded Chapter 9, highlighting the mercies of God in blessing Israel despite their disobedience and how this parallels our lives, in that God continuously showers us with His mercies despite of ourselves. We invite you to join us for our Bible Studies on Wednesdays 7:00 PM, followed by a time of prayer.
This Weekend
Saturday – Sam is leading the church for our weekly Community Outreach. We have new leaflets that one of the young men worked on, and we are excited to hand them out to the immediate community. If you are able, come and join the Outreach at 11:15 AM.
Sunday – We invite you to worship the Lord, and fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ. Join us for our: Small Groups at 10:30 AM, our Morning Service at 11:30 AM, and our Evening Service at 5:00 PM.
NOTICE: This Sunday Evening will be our final Evening Service for the foreseeable future.
