On Saturday, the 9th of July at 3pm, Downham Baptist has the privilege to induct a new pastor, Ricardo Hipolito, who has been serving as our assistant pastor since May 2021.
Ricardo and his wife Katharina and their family have been a huge blessing to us since they arrived. We are so grateful for their pastoral ministry already, and we look forward to how God will continue to use them at Downham.
Pastor Stephen Boreland from Bethesda Free Church in Sunderland will be preaching the charge and a number of other pastors from other churches will be with us, including several who were instrumental in Ricardo’s Bible college training.
We hope that you will make plans to be with us for this very special service. During the service, the members will pray over their new pastor and his family, and we will hear how God has been at work in this new ministry.
Also, during the service, there will be a special collection taken up to be a blessing to the Hipolitos. Following the service, everyone is welcome to stay for refreshments.
