FIRST SUNDAY BACK – We had a wonderful time this past Sunday. It was our first worship service together since the end of March. I hope that we never have to go that long without meeting in person again. It was such a blessing to be back together, and I am so encouraged by our church’s perseverance for the Lord over the course of this challenging year.
YOUTUBE – The 10.45am Bible study was from 1 Samuel 2:11-36 on “Them That Honour Me I Will Honour.” The morning message was “Work Hard at Growing” from 2 Peter 2:8-11. Wednesday night, we studied “Christ Recieveth Sinful Men” from Luke 15:1-31. You can go back and watch the Sunday Morning and Wednesday night messages on our YouTube channel.
THIS SUNDAY – This coming Sunday, we will be in 1 Samuel 3 and 2 Peter 2:12-15. I hope you will join us. If you do plan to come, please make sure let us know by email (info@downhambaptist.org) or text (07772206876), so we can save you a seat.
LEAFLETING – Also, tomorrow morning at 11am, we will be distributing some excellent gospel leaflets through letterboxes. The leaflet is called a “Spiritual Response to COVID-19.” We’d love to have your help. We will meet at the church for prayer and be done by 12.30pm.
