25th Nov Update

Now more than ever, we need strong churches that will hold up the truth and reach out with the gospel. And strong churches are made up of strong members who are dedicated to the Lord and to the Lord’s work.

With that in mind, we will be continuing our Membership Matters series tonight at 7pm over Zoom looking at ‘The Requirements for Membership’. This will be a review for our members and explanation for those who are not members.

Thankfully, we will be able to start meeting again after December 2nd. This weekend will follow the same format as before:

  • Thursday 6pm – Youth Zoom Meeting*
  • Saturday 11am – Leafleting
  • Saturday 6pm – Young Adult Zoom Meeting*
  • Sunday 9:30am – Online Preaching (2 Peter 3:1-13)
  • Sunday 10.30am-12.30pm – Church Building Open for Prayer

*If you need details for any of the Zoom meetings, please let us know.

A few other notices:

  • Christmas Offering – Please pray about giving a special donation toward our Christmas offering which will help a great addictions recovery ministry in Dublin.
  • Tithes & Offerings – Also, during this time when we cannot meet together don’t forget your normal giving. Click here for more info about online giving.
  • Church Retreat – We still plan to go ahead with our church retreat on 1-3 January in Ashford. This is a great opportunity to get away with your family and others from the church for a time of refreshment and spiritual renewal. If you have not registered already, there are still some spaces available. The shared-bathroom cost is only £94 per adult and £48.50 for young people. (En-suite accommodation is an additional £25/adult and £12.50/child.) More info here.
