Hey folks, I hope that you’re all doing well. This week’s post isn’t much of an update on what’s been happening at Downham this week, but more of an update of things that we have planned:
This Weekend:
On Saturday, we have our Community Outreach at 11:15 AM. We have Easter Leaflets to share with the community and with the people in the immediate area, inviting them to our Easter Services next week (more on that below). We appreciate your support in helping us hand out the leaflets as well as praying for us and for the services next week.
On Sunday we have our regular services: Small Groups at 10:30 AM, Morning Service at 11:30 AM, and Evening Service at 5:00 PM. I also want to announce that we also have the Lord’s Table this coming Sunday towards the end of the Morning Service. Come and worship the Lord with us as we fellowship together this coming weekend.
Easter Week:
Good Friday Service – Friday 15th April – 10:30 AM. Next week we have the opportunity to think and reflect on the perfect and finished work of the Lord Jesus upon the cross. We would like to make this an evangelistic opportunity, and so we ask you to pray and invite unbelieving friends and family to join us.
Easter Sunday Service – Sunday 17th April – 11:30 AM. Praise the Lord for the Resurrection. we have a service to celebrate our risen Saviour, Jesus Christ. This will be followed by our monthly Bring & Share as well as an Easter Egg Hunt. So come along and join us for our Easter Services.
