Hey folks, I hope that you are all well. Here are some news and updates from us this week.
Trip to Turkey
The Snodes and the Quinns will be going to Turkey for a week. They will be attending a conference/retreat for their Missions Board (Vision Baptist Mission). Let’s pray that they would be refreshed, challenged, encouraged, and as a result of their time at Turkey, love the Lord Jesus more and seek to be more like Him.
Sam continued our short series on prayer by going through the topic of “Praying the Scriptures”. If you want to listen to it, you can find it on our YouTube channel. We heartily recommend that you give it a listen – we believe that it will help revitalise your prayer life as you learn how to pray through the Bible.
On Saturday we have our Bible Institute at 9:00 AM. Since Travis and Same will be away, I will be teaching for two hours on the Doctrine of Salvation. Please come along and be reminded of not just the greatness of our salvation, but also how great our Saviour is. If the weather permits, we will be doing our weekly Community Outreach at 11:15 AM.
On Sunday, we are in for a busy, and hopefully blessed, day. We have our usual morning services, Small Groups at 10:30 AM, and Morning Worship Service at 11:30 AM, followed by our monthly Bring & Share. It’s always great to be able to have lunch with each other, allowing us the opportunity to fellowship and talk about the recent sermons/messages as well as being an encouragement to one another. We also have our Sunday Evening Worship Service at 5:00 PM where we will be going through an Overview of the Book of Job. We look forward to worshipping the Lord with you on Sunday.
