Weekly Update – 26/11/2021

Hey folks, we had a packed weekend just gone. On Saturday, we finished the term ended for our Bible Institute – which means that we don’t have any classes until we restart some time in the the New Year. On Sunday, we had an amazing time of fellowship for our monthly Bring & Share.

Here’s an update of what’s been going on this week:

On Tuesday, Travis and Sam were over in Colchester. It’s been a while since I’ve given an update on the work there. By God’s grace it continues – the team there are continuously working on the building as well as doing outreach every week with the aim of making the Lord Jesus and His Gospel known there. Let’s continue to pray for the work there.

On Wednesday, we had our Midweek Bible Study. We are still going through the Book of Revelation, and though some things are hard to understand and some things sound terrifying, it was a comfort to be reminded that God wins in the end and that history is ultimately in His hands. Join us for our Bible Studies every Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

Thursday was thanksgiving – happy thanksgiving to our American friends and family in Christ. The Snodes invited us over and we experienced our very first ever thanksgiving.

Here’s a what we have on over the weekend.

Tomorrow (Saturday) we don’t have the Bible Institute – as mentioned above, the term ended last week. We look forward to restarting it and teaching the truths of the Bible. We do have our weekly Community Outreach at 11:15 AM. Come along and join us as we put leaflets through the doors and we ask prayer – please pray that the Lord would work through these leaflets.

With the Christmas season quickly approaching – if not already upon us – here are some things that we have planned in order to celebrate Christmas:

  • Dec 11th – Christmas Party
  • Dec 12th – Christmas Bring & Share
  • Dec 18th – Youth Christmas Party
  • Dec 25th – Christmas Day Service
  • Dec 26th – Boxing Day Service

That’s all for now. Have an awesome day and God bless you all.
